FOLKSTYLE SEASON
September 1st 2025 - March 31st 2026
The folkstyle season runs from November through post season national tournaments. The purpose is to build the foundation for the high school season by competing at varying levels of competition throughout the year. The schedule is mixed with local and national events to guarantee the athlete will be challenged and experience success. High school kids should take advantage of the Sunday practices for extra workouts designed to help them recover from weekend tournaments and improve skills as needed. Any high schooler with a folkstyle membership can also attend any practice during the week.
FRECO SEASON
(March 31, 2026 - FARGO)
The Olympic styles program is for 2nd-12th graders looking to make wrestling a full time commitment during the “off season.” We believe training and competing during the summer gives you a big advantage over your opponents who are not. If you plan on competing in college - this should not be optional. The purpose is to inspire kids to make wrestling a lifestyle and train to become the best in the world. We will work to prepare the athlete for Cadet and Junior world championships as well as Kids Nationals and Fargo. Winter champions are built in the summer.
